ALASKA: THE NEW FRONTIER
A CAI-PNW Trip of 14 days in Alaska
Incredible coastal wildlife, dramatic mountains, rugged fjords and remote villages are just a few of the scenic and cultural treasures to be found as we explore Alaska. Along the way we will do some hiking, bird-watching and photography. After several days in Anchorage, we will head south to explore the Kenai Peninsula. From there we will return to Anchorage and catch the Alaska Railroad to Denali National Park with a stop in Talkeetna. After four days in Denali National Park, we will continue the train ride to Fairbanks, where we will spend a night before flying back to Seattle. Hikes and cultural experiences will be determined by the group’s interests.
It may be possible to set up 2-3 days of CAI-PNW homestay in Seattle for the Italians if there is interest by all parties.
