CAI-PNW TRIP TO NORWAY Land of the Midnight Sun

OSLO- four days

Walking tour of the city and visit historical sites and places: Kon-Tiki Museum (Thor Heyerdhal was Norwegian), Holmenkollen Ski Jump and museum, Fram Museum, Opera House and others.

Hike trails near Oslo with members of the Norway Trekking Association ( DNT )

Other tours and hikes as determined

Train, Ferry, Train trip two days from Oslo to Bergen on the famous Norway in a Nutshell scenic journey with a hotel overnight. Explore deep, lush fjords and Polar scenery along the Sognafjord on the way to Bergen, Norway second largest city and a sea port

BERGEN-four days

Walking and city tours: Bergen Art Museum, Fish Market, Aquarium, Floibanen Funicular, city wandering and others. Other tours and hikes as determined.

Hike trails near city with members of DNT

Depart for home or other locations

PRICE: Approximately $3000 ( double occupancy) , four night stay in Oslo, three star city center hotel including breakfast, 2 day Norway in a Nutshell train/ferry/overnight/train to Bergen, three star city hotel in Bergen including breakfast, food estimate for two for 10 days, and misc. expenses to include local public transportation, venue entrance fees, etc.

All expenses are based on current estimates and currency exchanges and may not include all expenses as may be required.

After notification of acceptance by organizer (s), a deposit of $1000/person is due payable to CAI-PNW Treasurer by January 30th 2017. Deposit amounts are for advance reservation deposits for hotels and the train trip. All other costs will be borne by trip participants individually.

NOT INCLUDED: Air fare, personal expenses of any kind including meals except where included in hotel breakfast.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation policy is a refund less any non-recoverable expenses or deposits
