Saturday January 14 five CAI-PNW members met at the Stevens Pass Mountaineers Lodge before snowshoeing to Grace Lakes.  The weather was clear and cold, but a very nice day for snowshoeing.  Along much of the way the trees were protected both from the sun and the wind so the snow that had fallen the last week or two was still on the drooping branches.  We had a standing lunch on the top of a hill where we could look up at Cowboy Mountain and down into the valley where highway 2 approaches Stevens Pass.  We walked back the the Lodge and on to the cars and then to home.
