Puget Sound Beach Walk

On a mild February 12th, 2020, 15 CAI-PNW members and friends gathered to do a beach walk on Puget Sound hoping to view marine mammals such as whales, seals and hopefully sea lions. We took advantage of a nice low tide to give us maximum walking space on the beach. We gathered at the beautiful home of Ron and Beverly Riter which is approximately half way between Everett and Mukilteo. From that location there is good access to the beach.  We walked approximately one mile to a turnaround place, where we enjoyed snacks.  We were disappointed to not see much activity in the water but several seals were sighted, seagulls, ducks and a few cormorants.  All in all it was an enjoyable outing and a moderate workout as well.
